The Gettysburg Address is one of the most important speeches in American History. It was delivered by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War on November 19, 1863 in Gettysburg, PA. It was revolutionary because emphasized the principles of Human Equality and the importance of National Unity.
The Gettysburg Address was dedicated to revolutionizing that slavery was a horrible thing. That it should be stopped for the freedom of our citizens and people who lived in the 34 states were supposed to be citizens. The freed slaves fought for their kin to finally have the freedom they were dreaming about.
